Oh wow, Thanks a ton for these videos Dave. Though I'm going to have to refrain from watching them until I either see him live myself or get his album. I intend for Bromst to be a complete and utter surprise to me aside from Get Older and Wet Wings.

Here's two songs from a recent show.

It seems that when he's plays the new album he'll do it with the band, but when he plays the old stuff he'll do it the way he already did it.

It seems like Dan Deacon's visual elements might be a giant tent. which would be bad ass, no?

There's no reason to worry. If you love Dan Deacon, you gotta trust him. Wink

According to this, Dan Deacon's new tour will feature a full ensemble and a 'large visual element.' What I'm concerned with is the possibility of the loss of the crowd element that has always been a large portion of the Dan Deacon concert. I am finding it hard to imagine how he would incorporate the crowd elements with the full ensemble.

Also, a Dan Deacon concert has always traditionally been 5 dollars, and with larger venues, traditionally comes larger prices that Dan may not be able to control the prices.

Though I hardly doubt that these concerts will be anything short of breathtaking, I am also cautious as to whether the party that we have all come to know will be lacking. I want to run through a crow of people, to be embarssed while dancing to Lion With A Sharkshead, to be completly lost singing Fishy Fishy Woo, to be swept away by Silence Like A Wing Over Takes Me, and to be mesmerized by Dan Deacon story telling.

Thoughts? Concerns?
